Bowling in Indianapolis

Expo Bowl Bowling Center had another great week of Bowling Tournaments, Leagues and Corporate Outings.

Bowling and Laser Tag Parties were in full swing again.  Some of the comments from parents were;
"The Expo Bowl assistant was awesome and very polite during our bowling birthday party.  Always asking if we needed anything."
"Am having the time of my life, will definitely tell our friends, thank you!"

From one of our Laser Tag Parties;
"The best time of my life, Laser Tag Parties are a great way to celebrate birthdays!"

Expo Bowl is one of the Indiana Bowling Centers that hosts a free Bowling Lesson session for their Youth Bowlers.  Ray Muir and Dave Snell will be at Expo Bowl on Saturday 1/23/10 for two classes of Free Learn to Bowls.  The Bowling Lessons  are at 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm.  These bowling lessons are for kids ages 6 & up and pre registration is required.

Bowling Leagues in Indianapolis are still forming.  Expo Bowl put on a Wine & Bowl League this past Sunday.  Other bowling leagues coming up are Roll to Victory, Wacky Wednesday and Monday Mixed.

Our Youth Bowling League has some great youth bowlers.  T

There's been a renewed interest in Indianapolis Bowling Tournaments.
Sacred Heart Church held their annual Blind Doubles Bowling Tournament this past Sunday afternoon.  All the bowlers had a great time and plan to bowl again next year.
The 2nd Annual "600" Club Fun Tournament & Membership Drive is being held at Expo Bowl this coming Saturday. (1/16/10) Tournament squads are at 12pm and 3pm.  Walk-ins for the tournament are welcome.
Expo Bowl is hosting the Sunday Night Sweeper Bowling Tournament on January 24th at 7pm.
Our next 9 Pin No Tap Bowling Tournament is being held on Sunday 1/31/10 at 7pm also.
One bowler who competed in the December 9 Pin Not Tap Bowling Tournament said "This is the best deal in town, tournament bowling at a great price and lots of fun!

Corporate Outings are a great way for Team Building in Indianapolis.  We host Corporate Outings all year long.  You don't have to wait for the holidays to bring your staff bowling of to do Laser Tag.

If you're interested in Bowling In Indianapolis Expo Bowl is the place to be.

Expo Bowling Center hosted their first 10 game Marathon Bowling Tournament this past Saturday.  49 bowlers competed in the tournament bowling 10 games across twenty lanes.  3 of the bowlers were exempt pro bowlers who all  finished in the top 5.  First place for the bowling tournament paid $700.00.  Only 5 pins separated 1st and 2nd place tournament finishes!  Another Marathon Bowling Tournament is tentatively scheduled for February.  Watch for details.

Youth league bowling has begun again at Expo Bowl.  Our league began this past Saturday and it's not too late to join the league.  Our bowler's are excited because as one child put it, "we get to bowl with the best bowlers in the world" when they all compete in the Pro-Am at Woodland Bowl this February.

Expo Bowl is still hosting Holiday corporate outings into January.  Many companies held their bowling parties at Expo and had a great time.
Jamie from one of our events said; "The facility was great, everyone was very friendly and easy to work with.  The bowling party was very organized and handled great.  I would definitely consider having our party at the same location next year."
Brenda said "This was great team building for our employees.  Everyone had a good time bowling and spending time outside of the office."

Laser Tag parties are also popular as a corporate outing.  Adults have fun letting off steam and "shooting" their fellow employees.  Jim said "It was great shooting laser tag at my boss and she couldn't get mad!"

Western Indianapolis Bowling Holiday Kid's Parties are in full tempo at Western Bowling Center, located in Indianapolis at Interstate 465 & High School Road. One of the finest bowling alleys in Indianapolis

This weekend Indianapolis' Royal Pin Leisure Bowling Centers featured Kids Party was "Bowling with Santa Claus." starting right after the Saturday Youth Bowling Leagues finished. 50 "Electrified" kids were thrilled that "Santa Claus" took time out of his busy schedule to bowl with them in the 'Kid's Bowling with Santa Party "at Indianapolis’ Western Bowl, last Saturday afternoon.

At the "Kid’s Bowling Party with Santa" the excited and happy children had the opportunity to sit on "Santa’s" lap and tell him what they wanted for Christmas. All of Kids at the bowling party had their picture taken with the jolly old elf, as a remembrance of this "Happy Time" to take home. All the kid's also received a small gift to take along from "Santa." Another highlight was when, "Santa" and his helper "Elf" went and bowled along with the kids going lane to lane, bowling all the way.

Woodland Bowling Center Indianapolis receives another thumbs up!

Chris writes:

"Woodland Bowl Staff:

Great job to all of you on the recent ISC Corporate Challenge Bud Light Bowling Challenge!  Indiana Sports Corporation received nothing but positive remarks about this inaugural event.  Each of the participants on the 85 corporate teams had an awesome time.  We’ll definitely be back for next year’s Challenge.

I want to personally thank Barb and Terri for all of their work with me on this event.  The operations went extremely smooth from on-site registration to bowler shoe distribution to scoring.  Terri was a pro with her assistance with many aspects of the evening!

Thanks again and congratulations on a top notch event!

Janice, Ken and Susie,

I wanted to tell you that everyone had a wonderful time and everyone thought that your staff did an outstanding job. You made me look good and I am grateful for that. Most people thought it was the best picnic the company has had in a long time. There is talk about keeping the picnic at the same location next year. Of course if that is the case you'll be hearing from me or the new picnic chairperson.

Thank you,

Corporate Team Building Bowling/Mini-golf event at Woodland Bowl

Janice, we had an absolutely great time. The food was great, the staff was great, the weather was great (thanks for that, too), the center was great. I want to make sure our bartender and the food prep gals were recognized. They looked out for us and made sure we were taken care of. Do they get a gratuity as part of the package? Many of our group said they would be coming back again for golf or bowling. Thank you for all your help.

Team Building Indianapolis

Beth El Men's League
What a great team building event for the Beth El League!

They have started their annual end of season tournament and it is off to a great start.

Hal reports the following:

There were close matches and even some upsets. In the Goldsmith #1 vs. Barrington #8 match, Barrington took Goldsmith right to the last game before Atlas and Friedman led Goldsmith to a 70 pin victory. In the Goodman #3 vs. Commercial #6, it took a 10 strike game from Lou Shlensky to win the last game and move Goodman into the next round. Down by 13 pins in totals Alan A. came trough in the clutch to lead Calderon #5 in an upset over Royal #4 by winning the last game by 21 pins taking total and victory. Not only did Alboher #7 upset Labor News #2, but did it in a convincing fashion. In the loser bracket, Leon Tailoring #12 upset D&S Liquors #9 while American Construction #10 didn't let King David Dogs 311 win a game.

This league's tournament format has redefined team building in Indianapolis.

A corporate outing is also a great way to start Team Building
if your church, company or just a group of friends would like to start team building, contact any Royal Pin Bowling Center and start to work on your Team Building in Indianapolis.
