Would you like to return to the "Good Old Days" Well you can by participating in Indianapolis’ Royal Pin’s Leisure Centers "Dollar Days" promotion on Saturday, May 10, 2010. It is one of the top bowling events in Indianapolis this weekend

"Let's Party" as it is an ideal time to take your family and friends out bowling in Indianapolis and save a few bucks, so plan a bowling party today.

The "Dollar Days" promotion features "$1.00 Bowling Games. Shoes, Hot Dogs and Soda Pop." The special runs from 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturday.

Don’t live close to Western Bowl Indianapolis? Don’t fret the promo is not only going on at Western Bowl Indianapolis, but also at Expo Bowling Center, Woodland Bowling Center and Southern Bowling Center in Greenwood.

All of the four Royal Pin Centers are conveniently located just off Interstate 465 on the Four Corners of Indianapolis.

In addition to the $1.00 Days feature, Western Bowl Indianapolis is also hosting the "1st Annual Mike Downey Youth Scholarship Tournament." Bowling starts at 11 AM and is open to all members of the Youth Bowling Leagues Indianapolis. A $500, 1st Place is guaranteed to the top male and female bowling in this Indianapolis Youth Bowling Tournament.

Entry fee is $35 and the handicap used will be 90% of 200. Current league average accepted.

Downey who was one of the top bowlers in the Indianapolis Bowling Association passed away last year of a heat attack at the age of 38. Because of he love for bowling his wife and close friends want to give something back to the bowling community in Mike’s honor.
