Southern Bowl is ready for an event filled summer. This Bowling Center's schedule is full of new and old family oriented fun. We have new and exciting things for all ages. I know, I know it is summer and you want to be outside ...me too, but sometimes that summer sun can be a little rough. Why not take advantage of an air-conditioned Bowling Center while having a good time. We have numerous Summer Leagues to choice from. Don't you owe yourself some "me" time? A summer league at Southern Bowl is a great way to relax, hang out with friends, make new ones, exercise, practice your skills... there are too many perks to list! Well I bet you might be saying...I have no equipment...I am not very good... no time...STOP RIGHT THERE!!! We have an in center Bowling Pro-shop....Bowling lessons....leagues at different times on different days.. Did I mention the other things you get for joining a summer league. Each game you bowl in league play, you get a game free of open play, each summer league bowler receives a VIP card for discounted bowling that never expires. We also are going to be giving away prizes throughout the whole summer. What more could you ask for?? Not biting... That's OK take your time and think about it...but not to much... Looking for something fun and competitive to do with your Sweetie? 1st place receives $80.00 and dinner for 2(based on 20 entries). Team handicap of 90% of 400. 20 bonus pins for your team per game if you wear the color red! Your highest 2009-2010 yearbook average will be used unless current averages with a minimum of 21 games is 10 pins higher. All other bowlers must bowl scratch.

Happenings at Southern Bowl

Southern Bowling Center on the South Side of Indianapolis has several great bowling events going on the last few weeks.

We are hosting the Indy USBC City Bowling Tournament November 13Th, 14Th, 20Th, & 21st. We had a good turn out of bowlers this past weekend. Southern Bowl would like to congratulate Jim Crook on the 300 game that he bowled on Saturday November 13Th! GREAT BOWLING!

Our leagues have also had some great high scores this month. Congratulations to Travis Rawley for bowling a 300 game with a 695 series in the Don Mitchell Pro shop League! In the Monday Night Men's League Buck Harring bowled a 299 with a 724 series. Keep up the great bowling!

If you would like to work on your bowling scores Ray Muir will be here on at the bowling center once a month to do free bowling lessons.

If you attended our Halloween Bowling Party thank you for making it a huge success! All the kids who attended the party in costume looked great and made judging the costume contest very difficult! Southern Bowls Halloween party is one of the funnest events in Indianapolis!

If you missed the Halloween bowling party don't worry we have Bowl with Santa Coming up. December 18Th from 1-3. It includes 2 games of bowling, bowling shoes, cookies & a drink, and a picture with Santa for only $10 per person! Santa will also be bowling with the kids! We are currently taking reservations for this bowling event. Southern Bowling Center is where to be on December 18Th!

Southern Bowl hosted another great Corporate outing for the South Side last week. The Corporate Cup Challenge was held at the bowling center. There were several corparate teams spent the day doing diffrent events through the South Side to help raise money for groups such as Special Olympics. Thanks to all who participated and made this bowling event successful!

Southern bowl is now taking summer bowling league sign ups. We have some of the best youth bowling leagues indianpolis has to offer. Southern Indianapolis bowling gets even better with fun special events!!

Southern Bowling Center would like to thank Spankys Club House for another great event in Indianapolis! We are lucky enough to be one of the few bowling alleys in Indianapolis to host the band. They were at the bowling center on Saturday February 6th, and even with all the snow it was a great turn out. Thanks for helping us make Southern bowl one of the best bowling centers in Indiana!

On February 13h Southern held its Sweethearts Doubles bowling tournament. There were 11 teams in the tournament and everyone had a good time. Congragulations to the tournament winners Brian & Kristina Clark!

Don't forget we also run the best birthday Parties in Indianapolis!

Senior New Years Eve Party

First kids bowling parties Indianapolis were a great success this weekend. When it comes to hosting kids bowling parties in Indianpolis on the South side Southern is the place to be.

Second this weekend we had our second annual bowl with Santa! We had over 60 kids that participate in this fun event. All the kids recieved 2 hours of bowling and their shoes. They also got their picture taken with Santa and recieved a special surprise!

This years bowling with Santa was even more successful then last year. If you missed out on bowl with Santa not to worry, bowling with the Easter Bunny is just around the corner!

CHRISTMAS CASH TOURNAMENT

Southern Bowl had its first annual Christmas Cash Bowling Tournament on Sunday December 13th. It was a 9-pin no tap tournament. There were 27 bowlers who participated and had a great time. The 1st place bowler received $100. Stay on the look out for other up coming bowling tournaments here at Southen bowl.

We had an awsome time at our childs birthday party at Southern Bowl. We are new to the Indianapolis area and for our first time at this bowling center our experience was great. We will be back.
