St. Patrick's March Madness Scotch Doubles

Sunday, March 14, 2010 by Dennis Scott

Western Indianapolis Bowling:

A "Fun Bowling" Indianapolis Bowling Tournament was held at Western Bowl Indianapolis this past weekend. The "St. Patrick’s March Madness Scotch Doubles" took place on Sunday, March 14.

18 couples joined in the fun to bowl in the "Scotch Doubles" event at Western Bowl Indianapolis.

The "Scotch Doubles" format is when the male bowler bowls the first ball in the in games one and three and his female partner tries to convert any spares he may leave. In game two and four the situation is reversed and the lady shoots at the strikes and her gentleman partner rolls at her spares.

The event is handicapped at 80% of 420 for the team. You must a verifiable league average to get a handicap or you have to bowl scratch. Plus, we reserve to re-rate your average if we feel it is necessary.

Here at the results of the recent "Fun" filled "Scotch Doubles" event held at Western Bowl Indianapolis, which also happens to be one of the finest bowling alleys in Indianapolis:
