Bowling Alley vs Bowling Center

Friday, September 3, 2010 by Terri Powell
Woodland Bowling Center Indianapolis, back in the day was a place where our parents went out to the bowling "alley". It was smoke filled and the beer flowed. Now it is not smoke filled but you can still have that beer. There are no worries about score keeping, only worry is what activity to do first. The bowling "alleys" are now a more family oriented place.  Woodland Bowling Center Indianapolis has become a place to relax, enjoy music, play billiards and enjoy the bowling atmosphere. There are so many possibilities from playing arcade games, food, leagues or recreational bowling. It is hard to imagine Woodland Bowling Center Indianapolis ever being a bowling "alley". Recently while watching a Mom with her children, I realized how different things are. I would so enjoy being that kid again. No more would I have to hang out behind Mom and Dad's lane. I would be able to play for hours in the Big Top and go outside and play Pirate's Cove Miniature Golf.  I thought how lucky I am to work in an industry that promotes not only corporate outings but also family time. Thank you to all the families that schedule their kids bowling birthday parties and help change the bowling "alley" into a bowling center.

Kids Bowling Parties in Indianapolis hosted by Expo Bowling Center.

Janice-

Thank you for the follow up regarding our all school bowling outing. We had a fantastic time and appreciate everything you did. I was leary after leaving the Great Times Fun Park that the kids were starting to wear down but boy did they prove me wrong. The second wind kicked in and your employees couldn't have done a better job. They played music that the kids have listened to at other school functions (YMCA, etc) and we had dancing, bowling kids with huge smiles. I could not have been more happy with the entire day and greatly appreciate your efforts. Once again, thank you for hosting our end of the year bowling party. Mo

Summer league bowling is a great way to get out of the heat, spend time with family and friends, keep your bowling skills up (or if you're a beginner, learn to bowl) and get free bowling and coupon giv-a-ways weekly.

All our summer league bowlers receive one free game of bowling for each paid game of league bowling.  Not only that but adults have the chance to win the Royal Pin Mustang Convertible.  Merchant coupons are given away nightly.

Kids bowling in our youth and youth/adult leagues go to King's Island at the end of their bowling league season (f they choose that option.)

Leagues will be forming for the next few weeks and we have leagues for every age and ability.  You don't have to have a full team to bowl.  We can put together a team for you.  What a great way to make new friends!

Call us at 317-787-3448 or email sbrehob@royalpin.com for more information or to sign up.

Laser Tag and Bowling Birthday Parties are still a popular way to celebrate your child's birthday.  We can accommodate you most any day or time so call us to reserve this important event for your child.  You're never at the mercy of the weather when planning your party.  It may be warm outside but it never rains in the bowling center or laser tag arena.

Bowling in Indianapolis

Tuesday, April 20, 2010 by Susie Brehob

Expo Bowling Center hosted Dollar Days this past Saturday.  Bowling, shoe rental, hot dogs and pop were only $1.00 each.  Kristi gave out door prizes for bowling, movie and cartoon trivia.  Free bowling game passes were given out every half hour.  Expo's Birthday Host(ess) staff and lane service staff led the kids in the electric slide, chacha slide and other dances.  Everyone had a great time.  The next premier event in Indianapolis will be another Dollar Day on Saturday May 8th from 9am-5pm.  Come out and see what we have to offer at Expo Bowl!

Our next bowling tournament is this Sunday.  We're hosting our 6th 9 Pin No Tap Tournament of the bowling season at 7pm.  Walk-ins are welcome or you can sign up by emailing to sbrehob@royalpin.com or calling 317-787-3448.

Bowling and Laser Tag Birthday Parties are very popular ways to celebrate your child's birthday.  Children can choose either a bowling or laser tag party or a combination of both.  Some of the comments from parents this past weekend were;

Sabrina A. said "Our helper was Excellent!" (Danielle)

Dawn B. said "Shelby made my child's party so easy for me!"

Tom S. said "My son's laser tag birthday party was a great way to entertain all his friends and not have them wrestling in our house" (Dusty)

Summer Bowling Leagues are now forming.  League bowlers receive one free game of bowling for every league game they bowl, kids can go to King's Island, one bowling league is going to Belterra Casino and another is going to the Brickyard 400.  Bowlers also have the chance to win the Royal Pin Mustang convertible.   Merchant and Royal Cafe coupons will be given out weekly.  These are just some of the great reasons to bowl in a league at Expo Bowling Center this summer.

Expo Bowling Center is located next to Great Times Family Park off 465 and Emerson Avenue.
